Ways of Counting is a video and lesson plan. There are three areas of focus for the child:
- To help children towards an understanding of counting as something done all over the world, simply with different number names and sometimes different symbols
- To help children to practise counting in 2s, 3s, 10s etc and looking for patterns
- To help children to get a feel for the structure of our number system
