What’s the Order? is a video and lesson plan. There are three areas of focus for the child:
- To give children experience in ordering different amounts of continuous materials as a pre-activity to doing the same with discrete objects
- To help children to learn to put more than 2 sets of discrete objects in order according to number of objects, not sizes of objects
- To use one-to-one matching as a tool for ordering numbers of things
